INSIDER is an exclusive learning platform where Dr. Cistola guides you in how to Master Your Metabolism. Q: Does MetabolismSpectrum.com accept FSA/HSA payment or reimbursement for lab testing? Can I submit payment receipts to my FSA/HSA plan for reimbursement? (FSA = flexible spending account; HSA = health savings account)
YES! You can pay directly using an FSA/HSA card bearing the VISA or MasterCard logo. Another option is to pay with a different card, and submit the receipt for reimbursement from your FSA/HSA plan. We will provide you with an itemized receipt with the needed information. However, it is your responsibility to confirm eligibility with your FSA/HSA plan administrator.
Q: Do MetabolismSpectrum.com and our testing partners accept health insurance or permit health insurance reimbursement for lab testing?

Q: After I purchase a lab test panel on your website, what happens next?
You will immediately be directed to complete two important steps: 1) review and sign a brief HIPAA consent form online, and 2) register in our laboratory's electronic information system. To process your order, it is critical that these two mandatory steps be completed. You will receive an email receipt with additional instructions. Within 1-2 business days after your purchase, please watch for an important email with the subject line: LAB REQUISITION. You must print this pre-paid requisition and take it with you to the Quest Service Center to get your blood drawn.

Q: When and where will I get my blood drawn?
You choose a day, time, and Quest Service Center location most convenient for you (2,100-plus sites nationwide). The requisition may show to a location close to your home, but you can a choose a different one. Go to myquest.questdiagnostics.com to register for an account online, search and select a location, and schedule an appointment online. Some panels require a morning blood draw after an overnight fast. Instructions will be provided with your Lab Requisition.
Q: Lab testing for metabolic health seems very complex. How do I know which panel or tests to order?
It is complex! We're here to explain it in easy-to-understand terms and walk you through the process. Before ordering a test panel, we recommend that you join INSIDER. This learning platform will guide you through the basics about metabolic health and how to test your status. If you are testing with us for the first time, we strongly recommend either the Zenova Grounded or Aventra BaseCamp panel to establish your current baseline values.
