An INSIDER Preview of Coming Attractions

Updated: Dec 17, 2025

Welcome to MetabolismSpectrum INSIDER™ -- a learning platform you won’t find anywhere else. Before we get started, here’s a little about your host and how we arrived at this moment.

About Your Host

David P. Cistola, M.D., Ph.D. is a medical research scientist with five decades of experience in biochemistry and metabolism, lipid and lipoprotein biology, and the prevention of diabetes and cardiovascular disease. He discovered and invented a patented portfolio of T2 compact magnetic resonance technologies for metabolic health screening—innovations that led to the founding of T2YourHealth LLC.

Dr. Cistola also developed the data-driven concept of the Metabolism Spectrum, grounded in his ten years of research on the metabolic health of the U.S. population. Recently, he introduced the term Early Metabolic Imbalance (EMI) to describe a widespread, hidden condition that often affects young, asymptomatic individuals. EMI is the first stop on the road toward obesity, prediabetes, metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. It is the earliest and best opportunity to turn things around.

Why Understanding EMI and the Metabolism Spectrum Is So Important

Conventional medical screening does not detect -- and does not even look for -- Early Metabolic Imbalance. As a result, millions of people progress silently toward metabolic disease without warning. This gap in detection is a major reason the diabetes pandemic has worsened so dramatically in recent decades. It also helps explain why cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death, despite major advances in treatment and prevention.

For mission-driven, high-achieving individuals, EMI can quietly limit performance long before any symptoms arise. INSIDER will show you how to detect, monitor, and correct EMI—before damage to your vital cells and tissues occurs. Our unique test panels were specifically designed to unveil this hidden condition and other aspects of your health that conventional screening fails to detect.

Your Personal Medical School Professor

After years of teaching these concepts to medical and graduate students, Dr. Cistola is now bringing this same depth of insight directly to individuals in the public domain—individuals like YOU!

And you are not alone! We're building an INSIDER community of inquisitive, motivated people who strive to Master Your Metabolism. The recipe is simple: Know Your Zone, Find Your Balance, Push Your Performance. We're here to walk you through the process and inform you along the way, as we learn from each other.

What You’ll Learn

INSIDER will teach you new concepts on how your metabolism works and, more importantly, how to take control of it. Few areas of health are as responsive to informed action. Once you understand the core concepts and how to manage them, the results can be transformative!
